I’m not going to blame anyone. We played well. We had our chances we missed them, they had our chances, they missed them, we woke up but it wasn’t enough. We will have our Decima one day. I know we will.

That’s how football works. Even if it hurts.

seleccao:

can we talk about gonzalo please? if it wasn’t for him, i think we would have suffered much more. its obvious when a team becomes desperate when their strikers begin to defend and thats what gonzalo did. to me, this showed that he was the only one who truly wanted to get a result that would benefit real madrid as he began to put himself in different situations. he was quick to pick up on hummels mistake which lead to him assisting cristianos goal. he played with ambition and with desire but unfortunately it didnt seem that every player in real madrid did.

i applaud gonzalo and his performance today because he put himself in positions that other players were expected to take up, he pushed the madrid attack and did everything that he could because he wanted to win and it was oblivious in his game play.

i appreciate gonzalo more and more each game because he sometimes goes unnoticed but the things he does for real madrid are extraordinary and anybody who doesnt believe that gonzalo has a place in real madrid should really go fuck a pogo stick.

"If you’re going to get eliminated, you cannot leave without dying in the pitch. On Tuesday I’m sure the players are gonna give their everything. If we’re eliminated by BVB, we’re gonna make them suffer. We’re gonna die in the pitch."

Mourinho on press conference after BVB vs Real Madrid (via habla-madrid)

I’m sure someone else will die but not on the pitch
